GOAL:
- To see the forests of the world restored (including sustainably managed agroforestry plantations) to cover an area of 20 million square miles.
- To use the power of the internet to support this goal.
- To accomplish this goal by 2045, roughly fifty
years after the establishment of the internet as a widely available
communication tool.
MISSION:
To provide information on how to plant, grow and manage trees and forests.
To provide funds from EcoWorld profits and from Reforesting Society Membership fees to support direct tree planting efforts everywhere. 100% of Reforesting Society membership fees and donations are passed through to nonprofit tree planting organizations.
To monitor and report on the state of
trees and forests worldwide via EcoWorld.
